Governor of Imo on state, Rochas Okorocha after meeting with president Buhari in London said Nigerians should expect their president back to the country in a couple of weeks.
A photo of the meeting which was hosted by the president on Sundaysaw him seat and chat with John Oyegun, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a few other governors.
Though several people are claiming the photo is an old one and not a true representation of the president’s state of mind, Rochas who was present says otherwise.
Rochas during an interview with BBC said the president’s is doing just fine as the photos published in the media can attest of his wellbeing. According to the governor, the opposition have been peddling rumours about the president’s health but now everyone can see them for what they really are.
“Nigerians will not buy the garbage they have been selling. All those who look up to fake news can find better use for their time,” Okorocha had said.
Speaking further Rochas said president Buhari sends his warm regards to the country as he is recuperating nicely.
President Buhari has been away for 76 days on medical leave.
